1 HOUR FAMILY SESSION

WHAT'S INVOLVED
- A one hour session catering for the family (up to six members).
- I supply you with 80+ professionally edited digital images.
- Delivered, via a secure online gallery.
- Images can be downloaded in both high resolution (for photo printing) and low resolution (for Mum's socials).
- Please allow 10 to 12 working days for delivery of your final edited images.
Your family session is photographed at an agreed location within a 30 minute drive of East Maitland. Travel beyond the 60 minute round-trip allowance is charged at $90.00 per hour.
TIP! One hour or so prior to sunset or early morning offers optimal lighting for portraits.
OPTIONS
- The Extended Family (The Nan and Pop add-on): Add $99.00. Its an opportune time to grab treasured images of grandparents and the kids together. This will add 15 more images to your gallery and about 15 to 20 minutes extra time to the session.
- Printed Products can be ordered in my Image Gallery Store: Traditional, matte art and archival prints, stretched canvas wall art and framed prints.

How do I book and pay for my family session?

Once you decide to book a photo session, I will email you an invoice to pay.
Full payment for your session session is due when you place a booking. I accept payment via Direct Bank Transfer.
Cards, Paypal, ZIP or cash on the day are not accepted.
What is the best location for our Family Session?
One hour or so prior to sunset or early morning offers optimal lighting for portraits.
So it's good we use a location that allows us to shoot during morning 'blue hour' or afternoon 'golden hour'.
I know some great local places that we can utilise.
Can I bring my fur-baby?
I love to include the furry family members in a photo session.
Keep in mind that this may limit our choice of shoot locations as many parks and beaches don't allow dogs. That said, I know a few spots that do!
You might have a great spot for photos on your own property?
What should I wear for my photos?
Clothing with neutral tones always look the best with no busy patterns, graphics or logos. Make sure Dad and the teenage kids understand this!
Also, complementary colours that are not too bright.
If you Google search 'What to wear for my Family photo session', you'll see some good reference. Pinterest is even better.
Should I get my hair cut prior to my photo session?
It’s always good to look your best and a good haircut is a great idea.
I do recommend however, that you visit the the hairdresser about a week prior to your photo session. This gives your hair time to grow a little and take the fresh-cut edge off.
Do you retouch my photos?
Images are colour graded and tonally adjusted. I don't retouch individual elements of an image though, such as faces or background elements.
We're not sure if I will know how to pose for my images, will you direct me?
Don’t worry, it's my job to direct you and tell you what looks best.
It’s natural to feel a little intimidated by the camera but that’s OK.
There’s plenty of time in the session to work out which scenarios work best for you. It'll all be fine!
When will my images be available?
Please allow 10 to 12 working days after the shoot.
You will be emailed a private access code to your session images, accessible on the adamwestphoto.com.au website.
From there you can download them to your desktop or phone.
How long do I have access to my image gallery?
Your image gallery will remain available for a period of 6 months from the session date.
Please be sure to download and secure all files, before the 6 month time frame expires.
I recommend that you store your images on two SSD devices and with a cloud storage service for ultimate image security.
Do you have Image Usage T&C's?
Yes I do but there is nothing out of the ordinary that will limit your general usage.
By confirming a booking and paying for a Family Photo Session with Adam West Photography, you are agreeing to the following Image Usage terms and conditions:
* Image Copyright remains with Adam West Photography and limited Usage Rights remain with you, the customer.
* All images supplied to you are for personal use only. For example: images can be used to create prints and wall art for use in your home or to give to family and friends.
* You are also free to use the images in social media posts, however images should not be modified in any way or have any IG effects filters applied to them.
* Images cannot be on-sold to another entity in any form or fashion, without prior consent from Adam West Photography.
* Adam West Photography reserves the right to use commissioned images for self promotion purposes only. For example: website portfolio or studio gallery display.
Adam West Photography will never on-sell or license usage rights to any third party without written permission from you, the customer.
