HERE'S HOW IT WORKS:
Your images are captured in my East Maitland studio.
Please allow approximately 45 minutes for your portrait session.
Two shot versions are included, on either black, black graduated or white backgrounds.
During the shoot, we review the shots being captured and make any changes that might be required to posing, lighting and background, etc.
Once there is a good selection of ‘keeper’ images captured you are free to leave. :)
I do a preliminary edit to all the images and upload 1600 pixel previews to your private gallery for selection purposes. From there, you mark your four ‘favourites’ and I’ll receive a notification of these.
The four favourite images are then edited (by me) in high resolution and the finished digital files are placed in a new folder within your original gallery.
Images can be downloaded in two file sizes - high resolution for printing and low resolution for the web.

FAQs

What should I wear for my photos?
That’s a great question.
It all depends on the end use of your photos and the image you want to convey.
Clothing with neutral tones always look the best with no busy patterns or graphics.
It's best to have options so bring a variety of clothes if you are unsure. Too many is better than not enough!
One last thing - please make sure your clothes are neatly pressed and on hangers so we don’t waste time ironing clothes.
Should I get my hair cut prior to my photo session?
It’s always good to look your best and a good haircut is a great idea.
I do recommend however, that you visit the the hairdresser about a week prior to your photo session. This gives your hair time to grow a little and take the fresh-cut edge off.
What about make-up, should I do my own?
If you are happy with your regular make-up technique and style, then yes it’s fine to do your own.
If you feel that you want professional help, we can co-ordinate that with a hair and make-up artist, located very close to my studio. They will charge you for their services separately.
Do you retouch my photos?
I do a limited amount of retouching to your selected, final images.
This is limited to stray hairs, the odd pimple or blemish, shaving cuts or a loose thread on the clothing.
I apply a minor amount of skin smoothing to the photos but not too much.
Remember, the photos have to be an honest representation of you, if you want to build trust online.
I’m not sure if I will know how to pose for my images, will you direct me?
Don’t worry, it's my job to direct you and tell you what looks best.
It’s natural to feel a little intimidated by the camera but that’s OK.
There’s plenty of time in the session to work out which poses and photographic techniques work best for you.
How do I book and pay for my head shot session?
To get things rolling, simply fill out the form on my CONTACT web page.
I'll get in touch with you as soon as I can and try to accommodate your preferred appointment time.
Payment for your portrait session is due once you secure your booking.
I will email you an invoice: payment with Visa or Mastercard is accepted through the STRIPE payment gateway, or you can do direct bank transfer.
Paypal is not accepted.
How long do I have access to my image gallery?
Your image gallery will remain available on the Adam West Photography website for 2 months from the session date.
Please be sure to download and secure all files, before the 1 month time frame expires.
I recommend that you store your images on two SSD devices for better image security.
Do you have Image Usage T&C's?
Yes I do but there is nothing out of the ordinary that will limit your general usage.
By confirming a booking and paying for a Head Shot session with Adam West Photography, you are agreeing to the following Image Usage terms and conditions:
* Image Copyright remains with Adam West Photography and limited Usage Rights remain with you, the customer.
* All images supplied to you are for personal use only. For example: images can be used for an online or digital resume, a LinkedIn profile or your business website.
* You are also free to use the images in social media posts, however images should not be modified in any way or have any IG effects filters applied to them.
* Images cannot be on-sold to another entity without prior consent from Adam West Photography.
* Adam West Photography reserves the right to use commissioned images for self promotion purposes only. For example: website portfolio or studio gallery display.
Adam West Photography will never on-sell or license usage rights to any third party without written permission from you, the customer.
